with this program you can run an application, and set it transparent.

USAGE:
run-transparent -t transparency program

transparence can be 0 to 1, like 0.4

EXAMPLE:
run-transparent -t 0.5 rxvt

Transterm will also check, if your system meets the requirements like xcompmgr.
